Building Blocks of a Team When it comes time to build an effective team for a growing organization, the first and most important step is to determine what work will be done. The second step is to analyze and create a plan to define the goals and objectives, by defining specific roles and tasks you will ensure that there are no responsibilities being overlapped that could cause problems and tension down the road. Once the goals have been defined, the next step is to choose the individuals that will best support the common goal of the organization as well as what strengths and abilities each team member should hold. Building a team for a growing organization takes a lot of thoughts and research in order to make the team and business thrive (Mindtools.com, 2015). The first stage of the team building is the forming stage, this is where the members all become acquainted with one another and the goals and objectives are set. This is where the members will propose ideas that will help the Health Care Inc. become more competitive. The second stage is the storming stage where the team members will have to overcome any diversity or conflicts that will arise so that they can move ahead and continue to brainstorm. The team members need to make amends during this stage in order to move on to the next stage to have a team of unity. By the third stage, group members are occupied in active acknowledgment of all members’ contributions and solving of group issues.
